SAVE THE DATE!

Saturday 29th October 2011 10.00am – 3.00pm

Hello to all our friends, those who came to our previous Homespun & Vintage Fairs.

We have moved venues for our 2011 Festive Homespun & Vintage Fair, to create a little extra room for some new additional stall holders...we'll be back at the tranquil Quaker Meeting House for Spring 2012.

The Parish Hall, Hallgarth in the very heart of the charming Market Town of Pickering (Behind St Peter’s and St Pauls Church, up the stairs at the top of the Market Place)

There will be beautiful and unique pieces to treat yourself, give as gifts or to decorate your home, plus lots of exciting and inspirational ideas for your home and wardrobe.

Also, there will be our very popular “Vintage Tea Room” serving tea, coffee and homemade cakes on vintage china.

So join us in spreading some “Happiness & Festive Sparkle”. A very warm welcome awaits you and with shabby chic treasure to be found.

We look forward to seeing you there!

My weekend Part One - My Farmhouse Kitchen creation for The Ginger Pig at The Speciality Fine Food Fair, Olympia

Come on inside at The Speciality Fine Food Fair running from 4th - 6th September, for a glance at The Ginger Pig stand number 944. Here you will find my titavated and collated Farmhouse Kitchen full of delicious Ginger Pig produce.

This is the 2nd time I've been asked to design a stand for a food fair which The Ginger Pig have been part of.

I set up The Ginger Pig stand on Saturday morning with the help of Jayne 'GP London Manager' - she was so great and we had a giggle along the way.

Follow the transformation below of bare industrial stand to a little bit of Yorkshire in London...

Wow all that space to fill, I was certainly in my element! First things first hanging many meters of Linen against the walls.

The Ginger Pig have been very busy!

Making pies, their delicious sausage rolls, sausage and bacon just to name a few. Les the baker has been busy at Grange Farm (Levisham) making lots of Ginger Pig yumminess for the fair goers to taste, along with one of his 3 tier Pork Pie Wedding Cakes to wow you...

A wire pig that I found at a booty for all of £3, pegged with Ginger Pig flyers!

A teeny tiny tea pot filled with Violas looked so cute sat on top of the chiller. I also added a handmade vintage piggy bunting to add that welcoming touch!

Mmm delicious pies...

The 'Ginger Pig Meat' book, a very recommended purchase, Gary and I have been loving lots of the recipes!

A new venture for The Ginger Pig - The Ginger Pig Meat Kitchen Classes are now available…call Amy on 01751 460802 to book your place.

Fresh free range straight from the Farm.

Hope you've enjoyed your e-visit to the fair, it certainly was a fab day and I hope The Ginger Pig have a good few days.

Lots of Ginger Pig love,

Lily Allen in Harper's Bazaar mentions our client 'The Ginger Pig'

Really lovely to see my client 'The Ginger Pig' mentioned in Harper's Bazaar in an article with Lily Allen about ' Gourmet treats to style secrets'

Lily says -

"I'm a real foodie and swear by the Marylebone Farmers Market near my London home. My local butcher the Ginger Pig is fantastic" - here here!

If you're a Londoner you must have a steakie treat one evening, we had one last Friday mmm delicious.

I'm currently designing The Ginger Pig's stand 'Rustic Farmhouse Kitchen' for The Speciality and Fine Food Fair on the 4th - 6th September at Olympia, London.
I'll give you a little sneak preview of my plans in my next post.

Thanks for stopping by for a little read!

Lots of Ginger Pig love

A little trade & Facebook = Busy bee!

Hi hi!
Hope you're all well and managing to stay dry in this soggy old August weather, just wanted to stop by to show you a few bits and bobs I've made for a new trade order from www.woolandbuttons.co.uk and my link to my Facebook page.

My hair prettiness was spotted at The Great Yorkshire Show by Joanne from Wool & Buttons from Sophie's stall - Sophie Likes. Sophie is a wonderful friend and took some of 'my makes' to sell amongst all her lovely delights.

Here is a little peak of what I've made...

Mini painted dresser found at the booty (painted by moi - will show before and after in next bloggy) displays 'Homespun Hairclips' and 'Homespun Hairbands'

Below 'Winter Wooly Bracelets'...perfect for this weather!

A little bit of clippy prettiness!

Beautiful bands with removeable corsage...Modeled my GiGi (Lennon calls her MeMe - I think he has a slight crush on her)

Packed up and ready to go...thanks Joanne!

Thanks for stopping by, if you can I'd love it if you'd 'Like' me on Facebook so I can keep you up to date with all 'my makes' goings on at 'Cheryl-ann Taylor made in England'

Lots of Prettiness Love xxx
